Secondo il Presidente dell'Abi, Corrado Faissola, in Italia si fa ancora troppo uso di denaro contante. Il numero delle transazioni "liquide" sfora il 90% del totale a fronte del 70% della media europea.

"L'elevato utilizzo del denaro contante - ha detto Faissola - ha costi elevatissimi per i privati, circa 10 miliardi di euro, di cui il 70% ricade sulle imprese. I costi per le banche sono anch'essi molto elevati.
